Registered Nurse Charge Nurses in our facility have a wide range of responsibilities that are aimed at providing the highest standard of healthcare services to our patients:
- Monitoring a patient's temperature, blood pressure, and other vital measurements
- Conducting fundamental duties in patient care, like replacing wound dressings or catheterizing patients
- Tracking the patient's health, mood, and actions and relaying any concerns to an RN Unit Manager or the attending Physician
- Candid conversation with a patient about their family life
- Apprising patients of their healthcare, detailing the procedures prescribed by their doctors, and addressing any anxieties or issues they may be experiencing
- Implementing physician-prescribed medication to patients
- One of the primary duties of healthcare providers is to provide patients with immunizations to protect them from various diseases
- Supporting and guiding CNA’s and NA’s to ensure the highest quality of patient care
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Having fulfilled all of the required Federal and State licensure standards for nurses, this practitioner is in good standing
- Emphasis is placed on developing communication abilities, such as listening and speaking, when working with patients, family, and healthcare professionals
- Electronic medical records are vital in reducing medical errors and improving patient outcomes
- A person who has graduated from a licensed practical nursing program that meets all the requirements for licensure
