Being a Registered Nurse Charge Nurse in our facility entails performing various responsibilities that ensure the provision of excellent healthcare services to our patients:
- Recording a patient's temperature, blood pressure, and additional critical indicators
- Fulfilling essential tasks for patient care, including changing bandages and inserting catheters
- Closely monitoring the patient's well-being, temperament, and behavior and reporting any changes to the RN Unit Manager or the attending Physician
- Patient expresses their emotions as they recount family experiences
- Clarifying patients' healthcare needs, outlining the procedures prescribed by their physicians, and addressing any apprehensions or grievances they may have
- Applying physician-prescribed medication to patients in a vigilant manner
- We must work to ensure access to vaccines for patients, especially those in underserved communities who may have limited access to healthcare resources
- Encouraging and assisting CNA’s and NA’s to deliver excellent care to our patients
Qualifications/Requirements:
- The nurse possesses all of the valid Federal and State licenses necessary to practice nursing and maintains a good standing
- The development of fundamental nursing abilities is a significant aspect of the educational module for each nursing student
- Having familiarity with digital medical records and documentation is becoming increasingly important in the healthcare industry
- One who has accomplished the requirements of a licensed practical nursing school that is recognized by the authorized bodies
