Registered Nurse Charge Nurses in our facility have a wide range of responsibilities that are aimed at providing the highest standard of healthcare services to our patients:
- Examining a patient's temperature, blood pressure, and other significant readings
- Accomplishing primary responsibilities in patient care, such as renewing bandages or inserting catheters
- Observing the patient's condition, disposition, and actions closely and making sure to inform the Physician on duty or an RN Unit Manager of any issues
- Candid conversation with a patient about their family life
- Describing patients' healthcare, detailing the procedures recommended by their doctors, and addressing any worries or concerns they may have
- Enforcing the administration of medication as prescribed by physicians
- By providing patients with immunizations, we are not only protecting individuals but also contributing to the overall public health of our communities
- Partnering with CNA’s and NA’s to deliver top-notch care to those in need
Qualifications/Requirements:
- This nurse satisfies all the necessary Federal and State licensure qualifications and is in compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Developing interpersonal and teamwork skills is critical to ensure collaboration and support within healthcare teams
- Working with digital documentation allows for more efficient communication and tracking of patient progress
- A person who has graduated from a licensed practical nursing program that meets all the requirements for licensure
